The following terms and conditions of sale are provided here to enhance your enjoyment of our products and to provide for your safety and the safety of others. You are encouraged to read these terms and conditions of sale carefully. By making an instore purchase you agree to the terms and conditions of sale stated here.

REFUND POLICY:

Our refund policy is in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act of 1979. Refunds will only be considered if the goods are returned to purchase store within 28 days. Goods must be in an unused/resellable condition, in original packaging and one of the following is the case:

  • Goods are found to be not of satisfactory quality.
  • Goods are not fit for the purpose for which they are sold.
  • Goods do not correspond with their description.
  • Goods do not correspond with sample on display.
  • Goods are not sold with good title.

To receive a refund you must return to the purchase store within 28 days as per the refund policy. All promotional gifts received with purchase must also be returned.

If goods are returned for any other reason, refunds and exchanges will be at the discretion of the store manager. Due to the nature of the goods, we will only offer refunds or exchanges if your statutory rights have been affected. You will be required to provide proof of purchase, so please keep your customer and card receipt to help us deal with your enquiry.

PAYMENTS:

Debit card/credit card/cheque transactions: Payments by debit card/credit card/cheque are collected on the Sellers behalf by Soap and Co. (UK) Ltd as collection agents. The goods referred to above are sold by the Seller. Soap and Co. (UK) Ltd is not a party to the sale transaction.

SHIPPING

COST WITHIN UK:

  • Free shipping on orders over £75.
  • A £10 shipping fee will occur for any orders under £75.
  • We ship all orders with next day delivery, orders placed after 12:00 GMT will be processed the following business day.

COST WITHIN EU:

  • Free shipping on orders over £75.
  • A £10 shipping fee will occur for any orders under £75.
  • We estimate a delivery time between 3-5 working days.

COST FOR REST THE OF WORLD:

  • A £20 shipping fee will occur on all orders.
  • We estimate a delivery time between 5-10 working days.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

All orders are shipped on business days (Monday – Friday, excluding major Public Holidays). We aim to process orders within 24 hours of receipt. Any orders received after 12:00 GMT will be processed and dispatched the following business day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or British Public Holidays will be processed and dispatched the following business day.

As the customer, it is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct shipping information and pay any additional fees which may occur such as customs tax. It is also your responsibility to ensure you or a trusted party will be available to receive your order within scheduled delivery time provided by the courier. If your order is reconsigned back to us, we are not liable to refund the shipping costs and we may require additional delivery costs for a redelivery.

Customs fees may apply for international packages. Please note, we are not liable to pay or refund any of these charges for you and failure to pay these charges can result in termination of your order.

If your package arrives visibly damaged/tampered with, we advise refusing delivery with the courier and contacting us immediately. If you are unable to check the contents of your delivery at the point of delivery, then please sign for the parcel as "UNCHECKED". Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims that you make thereafter.

* All purchases are subject to payment checks prior to processing. Only authorised purchases will be processed and shipped. Shipping costs will be calculated based on order total. All delivery services are subject to stock, courier area, availability, and demand. Please note, aligning with recent law changes you may be required to provide a VAT or Personal Identification number. Failure to provide this information can result in termination of your order.

FORWARDING COMPANIES:

If you choose to use a forwarding company, we recommend requesting the forwarder refuse any packages that arrive damaged. If a package is lost or has been damaged after being received by the freight forwarder, it is now the responsibility of the freight forwarder.

Sakaré is not liable and will not provide a refund or replacement for damaged, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods after being delivered to a forwarding company.

IMPORT DUTY:

Goods dispatched to other countries outside of the EU may be liable to Import Duty, Tax or VAT. When ordering from us you agree to pay any such Duties which may be imposed by your country's government.

If you refuse to pay any Import Duty / Tax / VAT imposed and thereby prevent delivery of your order you will remain liable for the purchase price of the product/s and any Import Duty / Tax / VAT or penalty imposed by your government.

RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

All items must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt and in unopened, saleable condition. Any promotional gifts received with products must also be returned.

  1. As the consumer you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days and receive a refund, except if you open a sealed product (this is for hygiene reasons).
  2. The refund period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you (or someone you nominate) receives (a) the goods or (b) the last delivery of the goods if your order is split into two or more deliveries over different days.
  3. To exercise the right to refund, we require you to inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (eg by post, email, or phone). We have provided a model cancellation form for you to use, but this is not obligatory. If you decide not to use the form, please provide your name, home address, details of the order, phone number and email address.
  4. Your return request will be processed promptly within 5 working days of receipt.
  5. You will be required to post your returns to us at Sakaré, Studio 2, 1st Floor, 155 Commercial St, Spitalfields, London, E1 6BJ. Goods must be dispatched within 14 days of telling us you wish to end the contract.
  6. Upon inspection of goods, your refund will be processed within 7 days of receiving your returns.
  7. We will not refund any original delivery costs you paid for your order.
  8. You are responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your items.

YOUR RIGHTS IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT:

As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will affect your legal rights

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

SITE REPRESENTATION:

Although every effort is made to represent the product to the highest standard possible, we assume no warranty that the product descriptions, colours, or other content available are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Sakare will not be held responsible or liable for any act beyond our control such as corruption, computer viruses or any other technology-based malfunction which was not initiated or authorized by Sakaré.

DISPUTES:

Any disputes pertaining to Sakaré website shall be governed by the state of England and be applicable to all laws and regulations of said state. If you have violated or threatened to violate the intellectual property or good name, we may seek court relief and you, hereby, consent to jurisdiction and venue within the State of England.

CHANGES:

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
